The restoration of the Butler Cemetery is still underway. This restoration will be far from a full blown professional restoration that might include replacement of stone bases and perhaps stone cleaning but we are quite satisfied with what we have been able to  accomplish. The graveyard has been properly cleaned up and documented so that its history will not be lost. We will now be working on resetting and repairing stones as time permits.

I would highly recommend that anyone who has an old family cemetery on their property undertake a restoration project such as this. The work is enjoyable and the satisfaction of restoring the resting place of those who have left us is great.
