C. C. Beauty was purchased at the Pine Tree Sales in Lewiston in October of 1983. She had 13 wins on her card the year before and we should have known there must be a problem with her. Turns out she had no interest in racing whatsoever. In her second start under new management we got the dreaded "dis" and we knew we were in trouble

We managed to get one win out of her after 7 starts and it looked like she was coming around to being a good race horse again when she was claimed for $1320.

C. C. `s new owners were able to take advantage of her new found attitude and went on to win five races in a row at Scarborough and Foxboro!
