When Arties Gem sustained an injury in 2001 she was forced to take a year off. She was bred to Sign Of Success. The resulting foal was Because Of Art. Though we don't own that horse we have been following his career with interest. He is currently racing well in Illinois and has a lifetime race mark of 1:54.4.
