David Andrew was purchased from a dealer. He had been racing at Dover Downs for some pretty good purse money ($13,000), already had a mark of 1:57.2 and we thought he was going to be
the best horse we ever had. Wrong again! He turned out to be the worst horse we ever had financially. He had foot problems and would break stride every time we tried to qualify him. We were never able to
fix the problem and had to give up. This one was a total bummer.
