Paula O was purchased as a Maine Breeders Stakes eligible yearling at the Pine Tree Sales in Lewiston in September of 1984 for $1,500. This purchase was a big mistake and to this
day we donīt know why we bought her. Her sire had only a few sucesses, and her dam had no production record. The only thing she had going for her was that we wanted to buy a Stakes yearling and she
looked nice.
This filly had no interest in racing and was so slow she couldnīt even qualify.
Chalk this one up as a total bummer! She was sold as a riding horse.
